Job summary

Kinexus is seeking mid-level and senior Storage Administrators to support a major Defence ICT program across Canberra and Sydney. The role focuses on NetApp storage and Linux (RHEL) within secure, regulated environments for the ADF.

The successful candidates will have active NV1/NV2 clearance, at least 3 years of NetApp storage experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive package.

Responsibilities

Mid-level and Senior Storage Administrators (x3 positions available) - Major Defence Program

Multiple permanent positions - salaries up to $160,000 package
Positions based across Canberra and Sydney
Active NV2 or NV1 security clearance required - applicants without this cannot be considered

We are looking to support a major, multi-year Defence ICT program aimed to support the ADF across numerous domains of ICT. As a result, we are looking to her multiple mid to senior level positions across ICT infrastructure, applications and databases that will build, sustain and manage key defence environments across the ADF working with a business newly awarded this key program. In particular, we are looking to hire three Storage Administrators with skills across NetApp and general storage administration at mid and senior level positions.

In this role you will:

• Lead, design, build and maintain complex RHEL-based defence systems.
• Troubleshoot, resolve and document issues relating to Linux in an enterprise defence environment used by all branches of the ADF.
• Identify recurring issues and vulnerabilities in the existing environment, advising and then executing fixes.
• Mentor and share knowledge with the wider Linux administration team.

What's needed from you:

• You must have a NV2 or NV1 security clearance active or reinstatable to be considered for this position.
• At least 3 years of experience in NetApp storage administration in large, complex and regulated environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
