Job summary

Leidos Australia seeks a Storage Engineer to manage enterprise storage and data protection platforms, with emphasis on NetApp and Commvault. You will design, implement, administer and upgrade storage infrastructure, and deliver backup and recovery activities to support critical operations.

Ideal candidates have substantial hands-on experience with NetApp and Commvault, plus ITSM process knowledge and experience in large-scale engineering environments in Defence, Intelligence or Federal

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience with NetApp storage technologies and Commvault data protection.
• Experience administering large-scale enterprise storage and backup environments.
• Capacity planning, utilisation and performance management, including AIQUM.
• Experience working within large enterprise or project-based engineering environments.
• Knowledge of ITSM practices, including incident and problem management, root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise storage and data protection platforms, focusing on NetApp and Commvault.
• Design, implement, administer and upgrade storage infrastructure and related firmware/software.
• Deliver backup, restore and recovery activities to support operational requirements.
• Contribute to reliable storage services through capacity and performance management and ITSM processes.
