Job summary

ZIMMERMANN is seeking a Stock & Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain and Logistics team at our Head Office in Rosebery, Sydney. This role supports China and Southeast Asia operations, ensuring inventory, warehousing, distribution and merchandise transfers are managed accurately and on time.

You will coordinate with third-party logistics partners and cross-functional teams, maintain shipping and customs documentation, monitor delivery exceptions and support stock integrity across stores

Qualifications

  • Mandarin and English language capability with fluency in Mandarin highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across internal teams and external service providers.
  • Practical, proactive problem solving, ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact between ZIMMERMANN and our third-party logistics warehouse partners for China and Southeast Asia.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound air and sea freight, including stock movement consolidation for efficiency.
  • Prepare accurate shipping, import/export documentation and delivery alerts.
  • Maintain customs data, liaise with brokers and support destination compliance.
  • Monitor shipment delivery exceptions and communicate delays to relevant teams.
  • Release store orders to 3PL partners, monitor processing times and support stock transfers.

The Opportunity & Key Responsibilities

ZIMMERMANN is seeking a Stock & Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain and Logistics team at our Head Office in Rosebery, Sydney. This role supports our China and Southeast Asia operations, helping ensure inventory, warehousing, distribution and merchandise transfers are managed accurately and on time.

Working closely with our third-party logistics partners, freight forwarders and cross-functional teams, you will coordinate inbound and outbound activity, maintain shipping and customs documentation, monitor delivery exceptions and support stock integrity across stores and online channels.

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented and solutions-focused coordinator who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, working across international logistics operations and contributing to continuous improvement.

As Stock & Logistics Coordinator - China & Southeast Asia your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a key point of contact between ZIMMERMANN and our third-party logistics warehouse partners supporting China and Southeast Asia.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound air and sea freight, including consolidation of stock movements to support freight efficiency.
  • Prepare accurate shipping, import and export documentation, delivery alerts and permits where required.
  • Maintain customs and product data, liaise with customs brokers and support compliance with destination requirements.
  • Monitor shipment and delivery exceptions, follow orders through to delivery and communicate delays proactively to relevant teams.
  • Release store orders to 3PL partners for pick and pack, monitor processing timeframes and support stock transfers and adjustments.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies, coordinate inventory checks and support stocktakes and cycle counts.
  • Complete regular audits between the China ERP and AP21 to help maintain stock accuracy and data integrity.
  • Partner with Production, Retail, Digital, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Finance to coordinate merchandise and non-merchandise logistics requirements.
  • Check freight and warehouse invoices, maintain accurate records and support budget tracking and logistics reporting.
  • Assist with transport insurance claims and contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring

To succeed in this position, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in fashion logistics, third-party logistics operations, warehousing or a related coordination role.
  • Mandarin and English language capability, with spoken, written and reading fluency in Mandarin highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external service providers.
  • A practical, proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
  • A high level of integrity, accountability and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Apparel21 or other ERP systems would be advantageous.
  • A collaborative and adaptable working style, with an interest in global supply chain and logistics operations.
