Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Stewarding Team Leader to join our Culinary team in Australia. The role involves supporting the Executive Chef in leading the Kitchen Brigade, managing dishwashing and back-of-house cleaning, and ensuring cleaning schedules and chemical handling are followed.

The ideal candidate will have flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays, with unrestricted working rights in Australia and strong grooming

Qualifications

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• High level of grooming and personal presentation.
• High level of both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef in leading the Kitchen Brigade.
• Oversee washing of dishes and back-of-house cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are maintained.
• Ensure chemicals are used and stored correctly.
• Complete Daily Cleaning Checklists for back-of-house areas and related front-of-house components.

The Role

• Support our Executive Chef in the leadership of our Kitchen Brigade
• Washing of dishes along with general back of house cleaning and maintenance
• To ensure all cleaning schedules are maintained
• To ensure all chemicals are used and stored correctly
• Ensure ‘Daily Cleaning Checklists’ are completed for all back of house areas and related front of house components.
