Job summary

Sterequip, located in Epping VIC, is seeking CSSD Technicians to support the sterilisation and packaging of reusable medical devices in a high-standard environment.

You will join a state-of-the-art Reprocessing Super Centre, working with a collaborative team to uphold strict quality, safety and compliance. A Certificate III/IV in Sterilisation Technology is required or in progress, with willingness to rotate shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Technology (required or currently underway).
• Knowledge of Australian Standards AS 5369 relevant to Sterilising Services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilise, assemble and package reusable medical devices per standards.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to internal protocols.

As a CSSD Technician, you’ll be responsible for cleaning, sterilising, assembling, and packaging reusable medical devices in accordance with strict industry standards and internal protocols. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team in a modern, well-equipped environment where quality, precision, and reliability are paramount.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Technology (required or currently underway).
• Knowledge and experience in the application of Australian Standards AS 5369 and the relevance to Sterilising Services.
• Proven ability to foster cooperation and teamwork.
• Proficiency in the use of computer systems.
