Job summary

Calvary Central Districts seeks an enthusiastic Sterilisation Technician to join our CSSD team in Adelaide. You will focus on cleaning, packaging and sterilising medical equipment, while ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance are followed.

The role requires CSSD experience, AS5369 knowledge and a Certificate III or higher in Sterilisation Services, with a drive to learn and support colleagues in a mission-based health care setting.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year experience working within CSSD.
• Knowledge and understanding of AS5369.
• Certificate III or above in Sterilisation Services.
• A drive to learn and expand knowledge, and to guide others.
• Desire to work in a mission-based organisation with strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning, packaging and sterilisation of medical equipment in a timely manner.
• Complete documentation in line with policies and industry standards.
• Monitor compliance and report non-conformance using appropriate methods.
• Participate in daily testing, monitoring and validation activities.

• Complete documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and industry standards
• Monitor compliance and report non-conformance using appropriate methods
• Participate with daily testing, monitoring and validation requirements

About you

• A minimum of 1 year experience working within CSSD
• Knowledge and understanding of AS5369
• Certificate III or above in Sterilisation Services
• A drive to learn and expand your knowledge base, as well as guide and support other staff.
