Job summary

Perisher is seeking a Station Maintenance Supervisor (Year-Round) to lead a small maintenance team at The Station Resort in Jindabyne. You will coordinate contractors, oversee preventative maintenance, and manage reactive tasks across buildings, accommodation, grounds and utilities, with an on-call roster during winter and occasional summer requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a trade qualification in electrical/plumbing/carpentry or equivalent, a current driver's licence, and a White Card, plus

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or equivalent building trade.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Experience in building, accommodation, grounds, or facilities maintenance.
• Experience coordinating teams or contractors.
• Strong practical maintenance and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a small maintenance team.
• Carry out hands-on maintenance and repairs.
• Prioritise maintenance requests and preventative works.
• Coordinate contractors and specialised works.
• Conduct inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure WHS, regulatory, and operational compliance.
• Respond to unplanned maintenance and emergencies.
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Events, and F&B teams.

Join Vail Resorts' Civil and Building Team as the Station Maintenance Supervisor and take a hands-on leadership role in maintaining The Station Resort in Jindabyne. You will lead a small maintenance team, coordinate contractors, oversee preventative maintenance, and respond to reactive maintenance across buildings, accommodation, grounds, utilities, and equipment. The role includes an on-call roster, with a minimum of three nights per week during winter and occasional summer requirements.

• Conduct inspections and maintain maintenance records
• Ensure WHS, regulatory, and operational compliance

About you

• Trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, or a relevant building trade, or equivalent experience
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Strong practical maintenance and problem-solving skills
