Job summary

The NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking Managers of Security to lead security operations across correctional centres and locations statewide. You will provide high-level operational leadership, coordinate daily security activities, manage inmate-related services, and drive staff discipline to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security operations in correctional settings.
• Current valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW.
• Be available on call to respond to emergencies.
• Comply with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Regulations and Chain of responsibility (CESU roles only)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level operational leadership for management in correctional centres.
• Coordinate daily security operations and provision of security services.
• Lead and direct special projects or specialised services within Corrective Services NSW.
