NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Governor/General Manager for Corrective Services NSW to provide leadership and direction for the management of all aspects of a correctional centre or complex, ensuring safety and security for staff, inmates and visitors in compliance with policy and standards.

The role includes leading special projects or specialised services within Corrective Services NSW, and contributing to workforce capability and trauma-informed service delivery for

Qualifications

• Essential requirements: Driver Licence with the ability and willingness to drive throughout NSW
• Be available on call at set times to respond to emergencies
• Comply with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Regulations and Chain of Responsibility Policy and Procedures (CESU roles only)

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and direction for the effective and accountability-based management of all aspects of a correctional centre / complex, including safety and security of staff, inmates and visitors and other visiting persons in compliance with policy, duty of care requirements, defined standards and KPIs.
