Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking proactive Managers of Security to lead security operations across correctional centres statewide. The role involves high level operational leadership, directing management in facilities, coordinating purposeful day-to-day security and inmate services.

You will drive safety and staff discipline, deliver on projects within Corrective Services NSW, and travel as needed within NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering on key accountabilities and capabilities described in the role.
• Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW
• Comply with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Regulations and Chain of responsibility (CESU roles only)

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations across correctional centres and locations.
• Provide high level operational leadership and direction for management.
• Coordinate security services and manage staff discipline; lead special projects.
