Sharp & Carter is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Western Sydney operation in a hybrid role. You will own payroll processing for about 300 staff across weekly and monthly cycles and partner with an outsourced provider to ensure timely, accurate payroll delivery.

You will also contribute to HR administration, reporting and payroll improvement projects, working with HR, Finance and operations to resolve payroll-related matters and drive system enhancements.

Competenze

• Experience in a standalone Payroll Officer or Senior Payroll position.
• Experience processing end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Sound understanding of payroll compliance, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers is desirable.

Mansioni

• Manage payroll for approximately 300 employees across weekly and monthly pay cycles.
• Review and validate time and attendance data before payroll processing.
• Coordinate with an outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
• Process payroll adjustments, employee changes, leave requests and payroll queries.
• Ensure payroll compliance with applicable Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Maintain employee data across payroll and HR systems.
• Support payroll system improvements and enhancement projects.
• Prepare HR reports and dashboards, including headcount, turnover and absenteeism metrics.
• Provide general HR administration support as required.
• Work closely with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders to resolve payroll-related matters.
