Job summary

Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead external communication and engagement for network changes and major construction activities. You will work with government entities, delivery partners and internal teams to translate complex project information into clear, timely communications and to mitigate reputational risks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex stakeholder engagement strategies within major infra/public transport projects.
• Experience managing comms and engagement around significant operational change or disruption.
• Ability to build credible relationships, influence outcomes and negotiate across diverse groups.
• Strong written and verbal comms translating complex information into clear stakeholder messages.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate targeted communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for network changes, disruptions and broader project activities.
• Coordinate communication with project teams, government entities and delivery partners to build stakeholder preparedness.
• Plan and deliver engagement activities for construction milestones, testing and commissioning, and significant network changes.
• Build productive relationships with government agencies, contractors, businesses, community representatives and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage emerging stakeholder concerns, issues and reputational risks, providing timely advice.
• Ensure engagement activities comply with approvals, obligations and governance processes.
• Develop clear, accurate communication materials and reports based on complex project information.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust strategies as requirements evolve.
• Support executive and government reporting including ministerial briefings and board reports.
