Job summary
The Queensland Government's Transport and Main Roads division is seeking a Project Engagement Advisor for the Central Queensland Region, based in Mackay or Rockhampton, to support major road and transport infrastructure projects. You will work with project managers, engineers and leaders to develop communications strategies, coordinate community consultation, and manage stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, community consultation, media liaison, issues management or government correspondence will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic communication and stakeholder engagement advice to project teams and leadership.
- Develop and deliver communication and engagement strategies for infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate community consultation activities, events, road openings and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Prepare project communications, media responses, briefing notes, executive correspondence and other communication materials.
- Build productive relationships with community members, local government, industry stakeholders and internal teams.
- Identify and manage emerging issues and risks impacting project delivery and reputation.
