Job summary

Aurec is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join our Sydney-based digital platforms team. You’ll design and build secure, scalable applications touching millions of users, working hybrid 2-3 days in the office in Sydney CBD.

You’ll collaborate with product, UX/UI and engineering across modern APIs, microservices and cloud-native solutions, driving platform modernization and engineering excellence. A product-minded mindset and ownership culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience building modern, customer-facing applications.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and/or C#/.NET.
• Cloud experience across GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of microservices, APIs, distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD and automated testing.
• A genuine passion for product development, customer experience and engineering excellence.
• Someone who thinks beyond the code, challenges the status quo and takes ownership of customer outcomes.
