Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Deep Python expertise with async patterns.
• Strong FastAPI and Django proficiency.
• Experience architecting backend systems at scale.
• Monorepo, CI/CD, and shared tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture and service boundaries across the Python codebase.
• Lead design docs and architectural reviews for engineers.
• Build templates, libraries, tooling, tests, and CI pipelines for backend development.
• Set and enforce backend code standards around structure, typing, testing, and observability.
• Mentor backend engineers and drive architectural decisions across teams.
• Monitor code health, test coverage, and performance to prevent regressions.
