Heidi is building the future of healthcare with a clinician‑focused AI care partner. We’re expanding and seeking a leader to own Heidi’s cloud platform and reliability practice, guiding the infrastructure that keeps millions of patient visits flowing weekly.

You’ll lead a small team of cloud and reliability engineers and stay connected to the systems you manage. You’ll drive build, deploy, frontend and backend foundations, with a focus on reducing deployment time, stabilizing environments, and

Qualifications

• Significant experience owning developer platform, build and release, or core frontend and backend infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with modern TypeScript and React; backend language and framework; CI/CD tooling, monorepo and build systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the foundations team spanning build, deploy, frontend and backend platform; hire and coach engineers.
• Own the path from commit to production: builds, tests, previews, canaries, rollouts and rollback paths; improve deployment frequency.
• Shape frontend foundations: component library, design system, app shell, routing, data fetching, performance budgets.
• Shape backend foundations: service scaffolding, shared libraries, API conventions, data access patterns, test infra.
• Reduce friction: improve CI times, reduce flakes, raise release frequency, accelerate onboarding.
• Collaborate with Release Manager and engineering leads; ensure foundations land with product teams.
