Job summary

TheDriveGroup is partnering with a well-known business to add an Application Support Analyst in Sydney. The role focuses on investigating issues, diagnosing root causes, and minimising service disruption within a hybrid setup.

The position is a 12-month rolling contract with a Sydney-based SRE team. The role offers a $550 per day rate and a hybrid work arrangement, including work-from-home three days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in application development or software development is good to have.
• Strong research and analytical skills for investigating and exploring application integration issues and products.
• Experience with APIs, AWS, GitHub, SRE, DevOps, logging, monitoring and auditing technologies such as Splunk, Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk Observability.
• SQL queries (MySQL, SQL).
• Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in CI/CD - comfortable with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins.
• Exposure to languages such as Java, Golang, JavaScript, React, etc. is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement regular system upgrades.
• Determine the root cause of issues and address the issues.
• Respond to issues and create tickets and upscale to next level support if required.
• Configure and manage alerts across all business systems.
• Provide technical support via ITSM tooling.
