Job summary

Leidos Australia delivers IT and airborne solutions supporting the health sector, defence, and government. This Site Reliability Engineering and Platform Lead role ensures reliability, security, and operational performance across multi-cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role applies SRE, platform engineering, and secure systems integration to deliver measurable evidence of reliability. You’ll collaborate with clinical, engineering, security and operations teams to translate needs into reliable

Qualifications

Experience in site reliability engineering and platform engineering across cloud and on-prem environments.
Proven ability to define and enforce SLOs/SLIs, incident management, and resilience improvements.
Knowledge of ITIL or structured service management frameworks and security/compliance focus.

Responsibilities

Perform SRE and platform operations across cloud and on‑prem environments to ensure high availability and security.
Define and enforce SLOs/SLIs and manage incident response, RCAs, and resilience improvements.
Drive IaC, CI/CD, automation, and DevSecOps practices to improve operations.
Lead deployment and integration of new health capabilities into customer environments.
Collaborate with clinical, engineering, security, and operations teams to translate service needs into reliable tech outcomes.
