Job summary

The Sporting Globe is seeking an experienced Front of House General Manager / Venue Manager / Assistant Venue Manager for its Sydney venues. You will lead front-of-house operations, manage staff, and ensure outstanding guest experiences in a high-energy sports bar environment.

Responsibilities include managing restaurant, bar and functions, applying OH&S and hygiene standards, and driving revenue growth with cost control. RSA, RSG, and TAB certs are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hospitality management experience.
• Exposure to both Bar and Restaurant environments.
• Experience in controlling financial aspects of a business.
• Ability to lead, train and develop a team.
• RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including training, rostering and on-shift supervision.
• Oversee venue operations across restaurant, bar, and functions.
• Direct FOH operations and ensure OH&S and Food Hygiene compliance.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales while controlling costs.
• Drive a positive work environment and lead by example as a senior leader.
