Job summary

Sport Integrity Australia, seconded to the Victorian Institute of Sport, leads the VIS sport integrity function, developing and embedding policies, safeguarding practices, and complaint-management across the organisation. You will work with VIS staff, coaches and athletes to promote a fair, safe, and compliant environment.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver education programs while aligning VIS operations with the National Integrity

Qualifications

• Experience with sport integrity initiatives, processes, including complaint/reporting mechanisms is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; capable of delivering workshops and forums.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and influence to drive change.
• Strategic thinking to align strategy with operations and insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the VIS’s sport integrity function, including policy development and continuous improvement of the National Integrity Framework.
• Embed integrity, safeguarding and child-safe practices across all areas of the VIS.
• Oversee and deliver complaints management processes and provide guidance on integrity-related matters.
• Deliver education and capability-building programs to strengthen integrity awareness and compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sport Integrity Australia and other partners.
• Provide strategic advice on emerging integrity issues, risks and opportunities.
• Foster a safe, fair and inclusive environment for athletes, coaches and staff.
• Contribute to the Executive team and apply an integrity lens to policies and operations.
