Job summary

Cisco Systems Australia Pty Limited in Melbourne seeks a Solutions Engineer to support the ANZ Splunk Commercial business. You will lead on-site sessions, conduct discovery calls, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.

We require five-plus years in enterprise presales, the ability to translate complex data environments into compelling solutions, and collaboration with sales, customer success, and engineering teams. AI and Splunk experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise presales with a technical focus.
• Ability to understand complex application environments and data sources (logs, security data, network).
• Strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions to customers and partners.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value and improve processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of Splunk solutions and experience demonstrating their value to commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and evangelize Splunk products and services through onsite sessions, webinars, and field events.
• Lead discovery calls and conversations to identify and validate opportunities, independently or with your sales counterpart.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
• Conduct on-site customer engagements, including Proof of Value/Concept demonstrations.
• Address complex technical inquiries and resolve customer concerns to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve working practices, processes, and customer success.
