Job summary

Mediix is hiring a Speech Pathologist to support both paediatric and adult clients across regional centres in Australia. The role combines clinic and community work with travel, focusing on NDIS-related outcomes and holistic care.

You will split your time between children and adults, with a paid target and flexible hours. A supportive team culture promotes learning and professional growth, with onboarding for overseas-qualified clinicians welcome.

Qualifications

• A degree in Speech Pathology.
• Eligibility for Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Genuine interest in paediatric and adult work.
• Driver’s license and own car.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing needs across paediatric and adult clients.
• Build goal-focused therapy plans for each client and family.
• Write NDIS reports and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other allied health colleagues for joined‑up care.
• Manage caseload and communicate with clients, carers and funders.
