Job summary

Mediix is seeking a Speech Pathologist for its Werribee clinic. The role balances clinic sessions with community and home visits across Melbourne's western and north‑western suburbs, in a warm, multidisciplinary setting focused on person‑centred care.

You will work with NDIS participants, focusing on paediatric cases while collaborating with OTs, behaviour support clinicians and allied health assistants to deliver family coaching and therapy in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current SPA membership / Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status.
• Minimum 1–2 years' post-graduate clinical experience preferred (new graduates considered on merit).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check.
• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle (essential for community visits).
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• 100% NDIS participants.
• Primarily paediatric with some adult presentations (early language, AAC, articulation, social communication, fluency).
• Assessment, therapy delivery and family/caregiver coaching.
• Collaboration with OTs, behaviour support clinicians and allied health assistants.
