Job summary

Mediix in regional Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to work with both paediatric and adult clients, with NDIS at the centre of the role. You will split your time between clinics and community settings, and weekly hours are flexible.

The role offers a base salary from AUD 90,000, with negotiable hours and opportunities for professional growth. You will join a large allied health network that supports learning and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• A degree in Speech Pathology.
• Eligibility for Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Interest in both paediatric and adult work.
• Own reliable car and a current driver's licence.
• New graduates welcome.
• Experience with NDIS clients is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing needs across a range of ages and abilities.
• Build clear, goal focused therapy plans that suit each client and their family or support network.
• Write NDIS reports and progress notes that are accurate and delivered on time.
• Work alongside other allied health colleagues so clients get joined up care.
• Keep your own caseload moving and communicate openly with clients, carers and funders.
