Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking a Graduate Speech Pathologist to begin a structured program with supervision, flexibility, and real clinical support. The role is based on the Sunshine Coast and involves community-based therapy across homes, centres, and clinics.

You will complete assessments, develop practical therapy plans, build relationships, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support NDIS participants aged 6–65. The program offers a graduate induction, 1:1 supervision, and paid study leave.

Qualifications

• Speech Pathology qualification or nearing completion (graduating in 2026 or January 2027).
• Passion for supporting people with disability.
• Driver's licence and own vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Complete meaningful assessments and design practical therapy plans.
• Build long-term relationships and track progress with clients.
• Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver clinic, home, community or day-centre therapy as required.

The Role

Based from our Sunshine Coast office in Sippy Downs, you'll support NDIS participants aged 6–65 years across a varied community caseload, including:

• Language
• Mealtimes & feeding
• Dysphagia
• Aphasia
• AAC

This is a community-based role, delivering functional, participant-led therapy across homes, day centres, parks and clinic spaces.

You'll:

• Complete meaningful assessments and design practical therapy plans
• Build long-term relationships and see real progress
• Work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team
