Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking a graduating Speech Pathologist to join our Canterbury site as part of a supportive Graduate Program. You’ll deliver participant-led therapy across community and clinic settings with supervision and structured development.

You’ll complete assessments, design practical therapy plans, and build lasting relationships within a multidisciplinary team to support meaningful outcomes for clients aged 6–65. This role offers flexibility with structure across settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate Speech Pathologist with a passion for supporting people with disability.
• Current or pending 2026/2027 graduation.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS/WWCC/Police checks.

Responsibilities

• Complete meaningful assessments and design practical therapy plans.
• Deliver functional, participant-led therapy across homes, clinics and community settings.
• Build long-term relationships and work with a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The Role

Working in our Canterbury site, you'll support NDIS participants aged 6-65 years across a varied community caseload, including:

• Language
• Mealtimes & feeding
• Dysphagia
• Aphasia
• AAC

This is a community-based role, delivering functional, participant-led therapy across homes, day centres, parks and clinic spaces.

You’ll:

• Complete meaningful assessments and design practical therapy plans
• Build long-term relationships and see real progress
• Work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Speech Pathology qualification (graduating in 2026 or January 2027)
• Passion for supporting people with disability
• Driver's licence and own vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
