Job summary

Everyday Independence in Deakin, Canberra is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide life-changing speech pathology services to NDIS participants. This role offers full-time, or part-time (4 days) or a 9-day fortnight, with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will work across diverse settings and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support participants in achieving their communication goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology.
• SPA Registration.
• NDIS/Disability experience preferred but not essential.
• Valid driver's license.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Work in diverse settings including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres.
• Develop therapy plans and provide life-changing speech pathology to support participants.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of health professionals.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and supports.
• Attend weekly team meetings and engage with mentoring from Team Leader and Therapy Mentor.
