Everyday Independence is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants. The role can be full-time or part-time (4 days per week) or a 9-day fortnight, based in Toowoomba. You will work across homes, schools and community settings with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• SPA registration is required.
• Positive and flexible approach to work is essential.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork are important.
• Commitment to personal and professional development is expected.
• Valid Australian driver’s license, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in diverse settings including homes, schools, playgrounds and community centres.
• Create therapy plans and provide evidence-based occupational therapy to support NDIS participants.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports.
• Attend weekly team meetings and receive supervision from leaders.
• Utilise team knowledge and support from supervisors to maximize impact.
