Job summary

Driven By You Occupational Therapy is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver paediatric services in Bacchus Marsh and surrounds. The role emphasizes early intervention, school-aged children with communication, language and social needs, and also serves adults with disability.

You will work mobile and in homes, schools and communities, with autonomy and strong clinical support. The team is small and values locals who know the communities they serve.

Qualifications

• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with SPA (or eligible).
• Experienced with NDIS – understands what a strong report looks like and why it matters for the participant.
• Comfortable working in paediatrics.
• Self-directed, organised and happy driving between clients with the radio up.
• Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Manage a paediatric caseload with early intervention, kindergarten and school-aged children.
• Deliver mobile, community-based services in homes, schools and communities.
• Conduct assessments, deliver therapy, complete NDIS reports and plan reviews.
• Collaborate with OTs and allied health assistants on shared clients.
• Maintain autonomy in day-to-day scheduling with team support.

Who we are

Driven By You (DBY) is a small mobile allied health practice based in Bacchus Marsh and surrounds. We're a team of around 7 – OTs, speech pathology, early intervention, allied health assistants and nursing – supporting NDIS participants of all ages in their homes, schools, kindergartens and communities.

We also have a therapy dog named Willow, who has better attendance than most of us.

What the role looks like

• A paediatric caseload – early intervention, kindergarten and school-aged kids with communication, language and social needs. Our client base also includes adults with disability, so there's room to broaden into that space if it interests you – but kids are the heart of this role
• Mobile, community-based delivery – you'll be in cars, lounge rooms and classrooms, not a clinic
• Assessment, therapy, NDIS report writing and plan reviews, all within your scope and clinical reasoning
• Working alongside our OTs and allied health assistants on shared clients
• Real autonomy over how you run your day, backed by a team that has your back
• Part-time, full-time or contractor position available for the right candidate

Who you are

• Someone who likes people. Not "good with people" on a résumé – you like them
• Self-directed, organised, and happy driving between clients with the radio up

• Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to get them)
