Job summary

St Therese's Catholic Primary School Lakemba, part of Sydney Catholic Schools, invites applications for a Specialist Support Classroom Teacher. The role is 0.5 FTE (permanent) with a focus on inclusive education and differentiated learning programs within a Catholic school community.

The successful candidate will hold a tertiary Education qualification, be NESA accredited, and bring experience with diverse learning needs, assessment planning, and collaboration with support staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of teaching experience in a school or similar setting.
• Ability to design and deliver differentiated instruction to meet varied learning needs.
• Knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes, including Personalised Plans.
• Co-teach and co-plan with colleagues to meet the needs of students with complex needs.
