Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Home Care Worker to support older people in their own homes across Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas. You will travel to clients using your own car, providing practical care and companionship to improve quality of life.

You’ll receive paid travel time, an hourly rate between $32.91 and $36.50 plus benefits, and full training with opportunities for career development. A valid driver’s license and insured car are required; female applicants are preferred as a genuine

Qualifications

• You’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused.
• You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care.
• You have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance).
• Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help.
• You’ll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients.

We do! Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker and be part of an independent, not-for-profit organisation improving the lives of thousands of older people in need.

HammondCare Home Care is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Carers to join our team across Coffs Harbour, Nambucca Heads, Urunga, Boambee, Toormina, Bellingen, and surrounding areas.

About the role

You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day today care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car (you'll be paid $1.05 cents per km plus paid travel time).
