Practicepeople in Brisbane is seeking an experienced disputes lawyer to join its market-leading Projects Disputes team. You will handle high-profile, technically complex projects across infrastructure, energy and resources, collaborating nationally on major disputes.

This role offers significant responsibility, strategic, commercially focused advice, cross-office collaboration, and opportunities to work on matters with international dimensions within a supportive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in disputes, with exposure to major projects or infrastructure-related matters.
• Strong technical capability with good judgement.
• Collaborative and able to work across teams and jurisdictions.

The Role

• Act on high-profile and technically complex projects disputes across sectors including renewable energy, energy and resources, transport, road and social infrastructure.
• Work collaboratively across offices and practice groups, taking on significant responsibility and varied work streams.
• Provide strategic, commercially focused advice to clients involved in major disputes with national and international dimensions.

About You

• You will ideally have 6+ years’ experience in disputes, with exposure to major projects or infrastructure-related matters.
• You will bring strong technical capability, excellent judgement and the ability to work effectively across teams and jurisdictions.
• You will be collaborative, motivated and keen to work alongside leading practitioners on complex, high-value disputes.
