Job summary

Montgomery Advisory is seeking a driven lawyer to join its Construction & Infrastructure team in Melbourne. You will work on complex disputes, including Supreme Court litigation, arbitration and ADR, across national and international projects.

You will focus on dispute management, contract interpretation, risk and claims, collaborating with frontend, projects and real estate teams. A fast-paced, supportive environment offers genuine career development for 2–4 years' PAE in construction disputes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' PAE in construction disputes or as a commercial litigator transitioning to construction disputes.
• Experience across litigation, arbitration or adjudication matters is preferred.
• Strong drafting and technical skills essential for complex disputes.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle Supreme Court litigation, arbitration and ADR for construction matters.

We are representing a rapidly expanding Construction & Infrastructure practice advising on significant disputes and major projects across Australia.

The Role

You’ll work across a wide range of construction and infrastructure disputes, including:

• Supreme Court litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
• Dispute management across major project cycles
• Contract interpretation, risk and claims management
• Collaboration with front-end, projects and real estate teams on complex matters

About You

You will have 2-4 years' PAE in construction disputes, gained in private practice or in-house, or be a commercial litigator looking to develop a practice in construction disputes.
