Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network aimed at delivering fast, reliable internet connectivity globally. The System Development Engineer will join a multidisciplinary team to integrate, simulate, and test state-of-the-art space-borne phased array systems.

Responsibilities include measuring and analyzing phased arrays, interfacing RF equipment for automation, and developing software features to test core metrics like EIRP, EVM, and G/T. Strong Linux experience is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Coursework in digital communication theory, DSP, RF/Microwave, Antennas and EM theory.
• Experience in DSP techniques, digital modulation, RF system design.
• Experience with lab test equipment like VSAs, VSGs, VNAs and Oscilloscopes.
• Coding/scripting with Matlab/Python/C++, and experience with SystemVue, ADS or LabView.
• Experience deploying and operating in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsabilidades

• Measure, validate, and perform root cause analysis on phased array systems and subsystems.
• Interface with RF equipment to enable automation and data collection.
• Create or modify software features to test metrics like EIRP, EVM, and G/T.
• Liaise with the Leo software team to drive new RF testing requirements.
• Perform end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of digital phased array systems.
