Job summary

Alba Thermal Springs & Spa in Fingal on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula is seeking a part-time Spa Supervisor to lead daily spa operations, assist the Spa Director, and ensure premium guest experiences across 35 pools and rituals. You will oversee the Spa Prep room, guide staff, deliver treatments, handle reception duties, and participate in open/close shifts and weekend availability.

Job description

Located in Fingal, in the heart of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, Alba is a world-class wellness sanctuary. Alba offers contemporary geothermal bathing in 35 pools, wellness rituals and indulgent treatments in the award-winning spa and all-day dining in Thyme, with a focus on locally sourced seasonal produce. Guests can extend their stay overnight in Alba’s beautifully appointed accommodation, The Sanctuary.

The Opportunity

As we continue to grow our team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated part-time Spa Supervisor to play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the Spa. This is a hands‑on position that supports the Spa Director and Assistant Spa Manager in ensuring the seamless delivery of spa services and maintaining our exceptional standards.

This role requires a strong operational focus, the ability to lead by example, and a commitment to delivering a premium guest experience. Duties include logistical coordination of the Spa Prep room, performing treatments, staff training, reception duties and any other administrative or operational tasks as directed.

Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training in our bespoke spa rituals, working exclusively with premium brands Vanessa Megan and Sodashi.

The spa operates 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm. This role is a salaried position and will require some open and closing shifts and weekend/public holiday availability (penalty rates do not apply). Due to operational requirements, the current roster is Sunday, Monday and 2 additional days that can be negotiated based on operations needs and availability.

About You

• You have a passion for all things Spa and Wellness
• You are a qualified Massage or Beauty Therapist with at least 5 years experience
• You have at least 2 years leadership experience in a 5 star Spa Property (highly regarded)
• You are guest centric, a team player, and have a positive attitude
• You have excellent personal presentation and strong communication skills
• You are capable, reliable and responsible
• You hold a valid visa or working rights for Australia
