Job summary

Merse Wellness Spa is opening a brand-new Coomera location and is seeking friendly Spa Receptionists to join the founding team. You will be the first point of contact, handling bookings, inquiries, sales, memberships and daily spa operations to ensure a premium guest experience.

We offer a supportive team environment, ongoing training, and perks as part of joining a growing wellness brand. Flexible casual rosters include weekends, with opportunities to grow within Merse Wellness Spa.

As we prepare to open our brand-new Merse Wellness Spa in Coomera, we’re looking for warm, polished and customer-focused Spa Receptionists to join our founding team.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an important role in creating the premium Merse experience from the moment they walk through the door. This is more than a traditional reception role — you’ll support bookings, client enquiries, sales, memberships and day-to-day spa operations while ensuring every client feels genuinely welcomed and looked after.

About the Role

As part of our Front of House team, you’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while keeping the Spa running smoothly.

Your day will include:

• Welcoming clients, managing check-ins, bookings and enquiries
• Responding to phone, email and walk-in enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Building rapport with clients and creating a memorable experience at every interaction
• Supporting sales by promoting memberships, treatments, services, packages and retail products
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate client profiles and bookings
• Keeping reception, sauna, spa and client areas clean, stocked and beautifully presented
• Managing linen, stock levels and general supplies
• Completing opening and closing procedures
• Supporting the wider Spa team wherever needed to deliver a seamless client journey

About You

We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy working with others and have an interest in health, beauty and wellness.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous reception or customer service experience, ideally within a spa, wellness centre, health club, beauty or similar environment
• A warm, confident and engaging personality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Confidence recommending and promoting products, services and memberships
• The ability to multitask and stay organised in a busy environment
• High standards of personal presentation and professionalism
• A proactive attitude — you notice what needs doing and get stuck in
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
• Australian working rights
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them

Availability

Merse Wellness Spa operates Monday–Friday 5:30am–9:00pm and weekends 7:00am–7:00pm, so we’re looking for team members with flexibility across our operating hours.

These are casual positions working across a rotating roster, including weekends, so weekend availability will be important.
