Tokyo Headspa in Sydney's Surry Hills is seeking a polished Spa Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team of Therapists and Spa Coordinators, and ensure 5-star service in our brand new space.

You will drive KPIs, manage rostering and inventory, and uphold luxury guest experiences while growing with a mission-driven wellness brand. This full-time role is based in Australia with opportunity for career development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Spa/Salon Manager or Assistant Manager role in a luxury environment.
• Proven leadership coaching and team retention.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to drive KPIs (retail, retention, utilisation).
• Collaborative with office support and management.
• Exceptional client relationship skills and professional service.
• Impeccable presentation and organization.
• Proficiency with Fresha and Google Workspace.

Combining scalp care, advanced hair therapy, massage, and deep relaxation, we've redefined the wellness space. We're in the midst of an exciting growth phase and we're searching for a polished, professional, and passionate Spa Manager to join us at our brand new space in Surry Hills.

We've been operating since 2022 from studio space inside Salon Lane across 5 locations in Sydney and Brisbane, we launched our first stand alone in Melbourne in August 2025 and now we're delighted to launch our second stand alone location in Sydney.

About the Role

As our Spa Manager you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon, ensuring a high standard of 5 star service, managing staff, and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the beauty industry.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through their premium spa journey, ensuring 5-star service delivery
• Maintain the serene and polished presentation of the space
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of Therapists and Spa Coordinators to reach individual and team targets
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs), including retail conversions, client retention, and therapist utilisation rates
• Optimise operational efficiency through intelligent rostering, inventory management, and product ordering
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance across the spa

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in a Spa/Salon Manager or Assistant Manager role, ideally within a luxury or high-end wellness environment
• Proven leadership capability with a track record of coaching, motivating, and retaining high-performing teams
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive key operational and financial KPIs (retail sales, retention and utilisation)
• Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside office support and management to achieve key commercial outcomes
• Exceptional client relationship skills, maintaining elevated service standards and resolving inquiries with tact and professionalism
• Impeccable personal presentation, attention to detail and organisation
• Proficiency with salon management software (Fresha highly regarded) and Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets)
