You will uphold strict food safety regulations, monitor stock levels, and coordinate timely orders with the head chef and owner. A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and 1–3 years of relevant experience are required, with merit for wok-based techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role in a commercial kitchen.
• Solid understanding of South East Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and contemporary presentation styles.
• Ability to use Wok cooking technique is not compulsory but adds merit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of South East Asian dishes.
