Job summary

Makita Australia in WA is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to manage and grow the Bunbury & South West territory, covering Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Manjimup, Albany, Katanning and surrounding areas. You will drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, deliver product demonstrations and in-store merchandising, and identify new opportunities across your territory.

This hybrid full-time role offers a competitive salary, company car and tools of trade, plus incentive

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of on-the-road sales experience.
• Able to operate in Bunbury if located there or within WA's South West region.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Experience with power tools, accessories or outdoor power equipment is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, organised and results-driven.
• Comfortable conducting product demos, training and trade events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales across the assigned territory.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers across market segments.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training and in-store merchandising.
• Implement promotional activity and support marketing initiatives.
• Identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
• Achieve sales targets and provide regular market and activity reporting.
