Job summary

FAAC Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager for South Australia to grow our regional presence. You’ll identify new customers and opportunities, build a sustainable pipeline, and manage the full sales cycle from proposal to handover while collaborating with delivery and support teams.

Applicants should be commercially minded with experience in project-driven industries and a proactive approach to travel and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or project sales in a commercial role.
• Experience with construction plans, specifications, or installation environments.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical and commercial solutions.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the South Australian market by identifying new customers, market segments, and project opportunities.
• Build and manage a sustainable pipeline of opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry engagement, tenders, and market intelligence.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to proposal development, negotiation, project award, handover, and ongoing customer support.
• Interpret customer briefs, plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop practical and commercially viable solutions.
• Promote FAAC Technologies' full portfolio of products and services, identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and long-term customer growth.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, system integrators, developers, government agencies, and end users.
• Collaborate closely with Project Delivery, Operations, Customer Service, and Technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, CRM records, quotations, and commercial documentation.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
