Job summary

The Fresh Collective, a respected hospitality group, seeks a dedicated Sous Chef to join the team at the Art Gallery of NSW. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will help lead a busy kitchen through high standards of food production and presentation.

This full-time role offers a 38-hour week with a Monday to Sunday roster and daytime shifts, with Thursday occasional. There is scope for career development within the group.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required or equivalent experience.
• Strong grilling and service skills are highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Job description

Reporting to the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will join a successful, professional and highly regarded hospitality group operating at some of Australia's most iconic venues, including the Australian Museum, Melbourne Museum, Queensland Museum, Sydney Theatre Company and the Art Gallery of NSW.

This is a full time permanent position, offering approximately 38 hours per week across a Monday to Sunday roster with mostly daytime shifts except for Thursday.
