Job summary

Club Kawana is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, driving quality and consistency in service.

You will lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence, contribute to menu development, and ensure stock control, safety standards, and a positive team culture in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a busy hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing high-volume service periods.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• A hands-on approach and strong work ethic.
• Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities
