Job summary

Edgewater Dining on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. Working closely with the General Manager and Area Head Chef, you will help run day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality and consistency of food.

You will lead a motivated kitchen team, manage food and labour costs to hit budget targets while upholding exceptional standards, and support the management team to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous Sous Chef experience in a premium, fast-paced restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to lead a team and manage service in the absence of the Head Chef.
• A team player attitude with a love of food and drive for excellence.
• Ability to stay calm and keep standards high under pressure.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
