Saltwater Creek Hotel on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Chef to join a fast-paced, friendly kitchen team led by a dedicated Head Chef. You will work across busy service delivering modern, quality dishes.

The role suits someone with 3+ years in a professional kitchen, able to handle diverse cuisines, maintain high standards, and contribute to a positive team environment. Expect a 38-hour week across a rotating Mon–Sun roster.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a professional kitchen.
• Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
• Flexible and willing attitude with clear communication and customer service skills.
• Immaculate grooming and presentation.
• Ability to manage own sections and deliver high standard of food throughout service.
• Pride in food presentation and top quality.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Food hygiene knowledge and practices.
• Available for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
• Approximately 38 hours per week.
