Staff Needed in Brisbane is seeking an outstanding Junior Sous/Sous Chef ready to step up. You’ll join a fast-paced, friendly kitchen led by a Head Chef and work across diverse Australian cuisines, delivering quality and modern presentation.

To be considered, you need 3–5 years CDP/Sous Chef experience, Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, and Food Safety certification. Applicants must have working rights in Australia; sponsorship or 88-day visa is not available.

Formación

• Minimum 3-5 years of CDP or Sous Chef experience.
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification essential.
• Food Safety certification.
• National Police Check obtained within last 6 months or willingness to obtain.

You will be working within an energetic, friendly environment, with a dedicated Head Chef and team who are fun and treat each other like a big family. This is a unique opportunity for a professional Chef looking to join the kitchen team and to enjoy the fast-paced environment this venue has to offer.

We are looking for an outstanding person who has some experience working in a busy commercial kitchen across a variety of cuisines and styles, delivering good quality and modern innovative food.

About You

• Experience as a Junior Sous, Sous Chef or strong CDP ready to step up
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Calm and organised under pressure
• Keen eye for detail and quality
• Curious, creative, and in tune with modern Australian food
• Excited about joining a forward-thinking team in a growing business
• Minimum 3-5 years of CDP or Sous Chef experience required
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification essential
• You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
• Food Safety certification
