Job summary

Lotus People is seeking a Business Process Analyst in Melbourne to document current-state processes and turn knowledge into practical SOPs. You will interview operational teams, map workflows and build a reliable source of truth for day-to-day operations.

You will connect information from multiple stakeholders, clarify ownership, and identify gaps and risks while maintaining structured documentation. An initial 6-month assignment with potential to extend offers meaningful work.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting current-state processes and operational workflows.
• Ability to interview stakeholders and capture tacit knowledge clearly.
• Experience with knowledge management platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Map and document current-state business processes across operational teams.
• Turn verbal knowledge into clear SOPs, process maps and docs.
• Capture undocumented knowledge through stakeholder interviews and observation.
• Document workflows in the knowledge management system used by the org.
• Clarify ownership and handovers across evolving teams.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify missing information and risks.
• Integrate information from multiple stakeholders to form a complete picture.
• Highlight operational impacts and dependencies where needed.
• Maintain organised SOPs and supporting documentation.
• Support smaller improvement initiatives as priorities evolve.
