Job summary

SYPAQ Systems in Canberra is seeking a Solutions Architect to design complex business solutions on the Microsoft technology platform, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power BI and .NET Core. The role requires collaboration with agile teams and stakeholders across a federal department.

You will oversee implementation, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, and contribute to reporting and decision making through briefs and information papers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Solutions Architecture role with government experience
• Experience designing and delivering solutions on the Microsoft platform: Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power BI, .NET Core
• Australian Citizen with an existing baseline clearance

Responsibilities

• Design complex business solutions that support processes, requirements and rules.
• Oversee implementation by Agile teams, providing ongoing review and decision making per enterprise architecture principles.
• Assist in developing and maintaining enterprise architecture visibility for current and future state of information environment.
• Enable informed decisions by producing briefs, presentations and information papers for stakeholders.
• Build understanding of business processes, data, technology, and strategy to align ICT with business needs.
• Monitor and synthesize changes in technology landscape (especially Microsoft) and apply them to the Department's environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Department and with infrastructure, enterprise and security architects.
• Contribute to organisational change by recommending improvements to processes and information systems.
