The role focuses on leading solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Case Management, driving enterprise-grade patterns, security, data management, and integration with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution architecture leadership for Dynamics 365 Case Management platform.
• Lead design and evolution of Dynamics 365 solution architecture across processes, data, security, and integration.
• Develop architecture artefacts: conceptual/logical/technical architectures and integration specs.
• Own Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture ensuring security, scalability, and best practices.
• Govern configuration, customization, and extension strategies for Dynamics 365/Power Platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Coordinate with Enterprise/Solution/Data Architects to align Case Management with governance.

Job description

We Are Currently Looking For a Dynamics 365 Architect With a Large State Government Department Based In Brisbane CBD On a Brand New Program Of Work.

Contract details

• Brisbane CBD location (2 days WFH pw)
• Contract until 26/02/2027 (with planned extension up until end of Feb 2028)
• Up to $ $176.43 per hour inc super OR $1,411.44 per day inc super (based on 8 hours)

Responsibilities

• Provide solution architecture leadership for the Department’s Dynamics 365 Case Management platform, ensuring solution designs align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead the design and evolution of the Dynamics 365 solution architecture, including case management capabilities, business processes, workflows, data management, security, integration, document management, and user experience.
• Develop and gain approval for architecture artefacts, including conceptual, logical and technical architectures, solution designs, integration specifications, environment strategies, architecture decision records, and supporting security models.
• Own the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with Microsoft best practices and departmental standards.
• Provide architecture leadership for document and content management capabilities, ensuring effective integration and governance between Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and enterprise information management solutions.
• Define and govern configuration, customisation and extension strategies for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, ensuring an appropriate balance between out-of-the-box functionality, configuration, low-code solutions, and custom development.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand case management, information management, and operational requirements and translate these into practical, sustainable, and supportable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Data & AI Architects, Technical Leads, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between the Case Management solution,
• Among others.

Ideally You Will Have

• 10+ years’ experience delivering enterprise-scale business application solutions, including substantial experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, or Lead Implementation roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Power Automate, Enterprise document and records management solutions, Dynamics 365 Case Management or equivalent enterprise case management platforms
• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise case management, workflow, service management, regulatory, or business process solutions using Dynamics 365.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing document management, records management, collaboration, and content management capabilities leveraging Dynamics 365 and SharePoint Online.
• Demonstrated experience defining architecture, configuration, customisation, extensibility, and application lifecycle management approaches within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
• Extensive experience in solution architecture and enterprise solution design for case management, document management, records management, collaboration, and information governance solutions.
