Job summary

ING Australia seeks a Solution Designer to join our Tech Architecture team. You will design IT solutions at the Feature level, applying Agile and Continuous Delivery across diverse IT projects, and coordinate end-to-end from design to production with a global ING community.

You’ll collaborate with Chapter Leads, vendors, and offshore partners to deliver innovative digital banking products while sustaining scalable, resilient architectures and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with at least 3 years as Solution Designer
• End-to-end design from Design to Go-Live
• Knowledge of design, infrastructure, configurations and 3rd party vendor management
• Strong REST architecture principles and design patterns including Swagger, OpenAPI and JSON Schema
• Microservices using Kafka or similar
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps
• Core banking or Financial Services experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Job description

ING Australia is on the search for Solution Designer to join our Tech Architecture team at ING.

You will be playing a key role in the design of interesting and wide-ranging IT solutions at the Feature level, using practices such as Agile and Continuous Delivery across an array of exciting IT projects in the coming year.

Reporting to the Chapter Lead – Solution Design, you will also be joining a supportive and dynamic team who are responsible for the design and delivery of innovative products, which are at the forefront of digital banking in Australia, using your vision for the future and seeing that through to production.

What you’ll do …

What we’re looking for…

• Core banking or Financial Services experience
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated stakeholder management skills
