Job summary

The Solar Group is seeking a Door-to-Door Appointment Setter to be the first contact for homeowners, explaining available government rebates for solar and batteries and scheduling appointments for our sales representatives. This role is 80%-90% field-based and open to experienced professionals and entry-level candidates.

Part-time (approx. 32 hours per week) with a base pay of $52,000 and commissions ($150 per appointment, $150 per sale; $1000 per week plus).

Qualifications

• Ability to handle rejection with a positive attitude.
• Effective communication and exceptional customer service.
• Strong detail retention and organisational skills.
• Physical stamina to walk for extended periods.
• Sales experience preferred but not required; full training provided.
• Valid Driver's Licence preferred or reliable access to public transport.
• Valid work authorisation for Australia (We do not do sponsorship visas).

Responsibilities

• Travel to various suburbs to introduce our services and book appointments for sales representatives.
• Collect homeowner details, including name, address, and phone number.
• Utilise objection-handling techniques to engage potential clients.
• Distribute flyers and promotional materials.
• Maintain accurate notes for booked appointments and follow up with prospects.
• Collaborate with project managers and participate in weekly team meetings.
• Navigate neighborhoods on foot and use mobile devices efficiently for scheduling.
